The bar also provides a relaxed eating area for those preferring a light meal or snack, offering Petiscos – Portal's lengthy assortment of Latin Tapas. Spilling back into a glorious glasshouse, the airy dining area lends an al-fresco feel that is spectacular both day and night. At the heart of the restaurant is the bustling open-plan kitchen, where classics such as traditional Braised bisaro with fine sweet potato chips and pea mash with Madeira sauce are created. For those of you who want a night with a bit of sparkle, we are offering a special evening prepared by our Executive Chef Pedro Peinado Pereira, consisting of 4 courses with each carefully paired with Joseph Perrier Champagne. We are delighted that Jean-Claude Fourman, owner and CEO of Joseph Perrier who will have the honour of taking us through the tasting. This dinner will be the first chance for the public to taste two completely new champagnes from Joseph Perrier. They are both from the outstanding 2002 vintage.
