Portal launches its new a la carte lunch and dinner menu just in time for Spring, using fresh and light ingredients to compliment the rich Portuguese Cusine.

Portal is a modern Portuguese restaurant and wine bar that combines the buzzy conviviality of Iberian dining with bold interior design, a specialist wine list and sophisticated cooking. Reflecting the passion of veteran restaurateur and owner, Antonio Correia, Portal is a Modern Portuguese cuisine with a tranquil dining environment and unobtrusive service that are the hallmarks of this Clerkenwell restaurant.

The bar at Portal is an intimate and stylish meeting point ideal for enjoying an aperitif of a chilled extra dry white port or sampling the extensive wine list. The bar also provides a relaxed eating area for those preferring a light meal or snack, offering Petiscos – Portal's lengthy assortment of Latin Tapas.

Spilling back into a glorious glasshouse, the airy dining area lends an al-fresco feel that is spectacular both day and night. At the heart of the restaurant is the bustling open-plan kitchen, where classics such as traditional Braised bisaro are created. Moreover, our vegan and vegetarian options ensure there is something for everyone
